Mr Ian Roberts of Riversdale Estate Winery approached Fiera Group in 2010 to master plan, design and construct a sustainable winery for his sons with low energy use and low impact in his pristine vineyard environment. In 2018 Gerald introduced the family to Circular Energy Pump principles; immediately questioning and removing a need for the proposed doubling of plant and machinery being discussed by suppliers. With Zero waste as the goal, Energy Pumps provide all the cooling and heating needs to deliver a zero waste result. Australis first true zero waste winery design was adopted and stands as a testament to the families dedication to the climate and environment.
